In March this year, while hearing a plea filed by the makers of web-series College Romance, the Court had called for the regulation of profanity on social media and OTT platforms.The Central government has informed the Delhi High Court that it will incorporate rules and regulations to regulate the use of 'vulgar language', 'profanity' and 'bad words' on social media platforms.Still no steps are taken to stop such nuisance.
